Mustis, is the pseudonym of Øyvind Johan Mustaparta, born September 10 1979 who is a Norwegian keyboardist, best known for his work in the Norwegian symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir.[1] Mustis joined Dimmu Borgir in 1998 and contributed to their atmosphere with his melodic keyboard parts. This can be heard in songs such as Progenies of the Great Apocalypse (which he composed) on their album, Death Cult Armageddon (released in 2003 with Nuclear Blast). Mustis' studio works with Dimmu Borgir include Spiritual Black Dimensions (1999), Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia (2001), Death Cult Armageddon (2003), the re-release of Stormblåst in 2005 and In Sorte Diaboli (2007).

Jan Axel 'Hellhammer' Blomberg born August 2, 1969,[1] is a two time Spellemannprisen award-winning[2] heavy metal drummer from Trysil, Norway. He is most well known for his drumming with the band Mayhem, with which he began his career. He is endorsed by Sabian Cymbals, Axis Pedals and Pearl drums, though he has been known to use Yamaha drums as well.

He joined Mayhem in 1988, following the departure of the drummer and founding member Kjetil Manheim. In addition to Mayhem, one of his long-standing bands was the avant-garde metal band Arcturus, which he formed with Steinar Sverd Johnsen in 1987, originally under the name Mortem, and broke up in April 2007. He has since joined and sessioned for numerous bands.

Galder

Galder is a Norwegian composer, guitarist, and vocalist whose birth name is Tom Rune Andersen. He is from the small town Jessheim, north of Oslo. He is a founding member of the melodic black metal band Old Man's Child as well as the lead guitarist in Dimmu Borgir. In 1993, under the stage name Grusom, he, Jardar and Tjodalv created Old Man's Child. On some Old Man's Child albums, he performed vocal work, guitars, bass, and keyboards, though with a full line-up his primary instruments guitar and keyboards, as well as vocals. He joined Dimmu Borgir in 2001 but has kept Old Man's Child alive.

Galder has also worked with other Norwegian bands like Dødheimsgard. Member of Dødheimsgard Aldrahn wrote some of the lyrics for Old Man's Child demo album In the Shades of Life.

Simen Hestnæs (born March 4, 1974, in Oslo, Norway), also known as ICS Vortex, or just simply Vortex, was the vocalist of the avant-garde metal band Arcturus and is the bass player and clean vocalist for the Norwegian symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir. He was most recently announced to be the new vocalist for Norwegian/English black metal band Code,[1] replacing Kvohst who has gone on to become the vocalist of Dødheimsgard.

Silenoz

Silenoz
Silenoz, (real name Sven Atle Kopperud born on October 1976), is a Norwegian guitarist who is a founding member, along with Shagrath and Tjodalv, of the Norwegian symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir.

Biography
Silenoz has been behind the guitars since the band started. He composes most of the riffs and melodies that are a large part of the band's sound. He is also Dimmu Borgir's predominant lyricist, also contributing backing vocals which can be heard on "For All Tid", "Stormblåst", its re-record and "Godless Savage Garden". In the early days of the band, he used as stage name Erkekjetter Silenoz which means arch heretic, having it shortened later to Silenoz.

Before playing in Dimmu Borgir, Silenoz played in "Malefic". Another band Silenoz, or "Ed Damnator" as he was called, played rhythm guitar in was the Norwegian thrash metal band, "Nocturnal Breed". Before becoming a musician Silenoz used to work in a kindergarden.

Silenoz recently was featured as a voice actor in the Adult Swim cartoon Metalocalypse. This episode kicked off the second season of the popular show and debuted on Adult Swim Fix on Friday, September 21, 2007
